All cropping is done locally with the Canvas API. The image never leaves your device.

Quick tips

  • Enable Lock Aspect Ratio when dragging to constrain the selection to the original proportions.
  • The rule-of-thirds grid appears inside large selections to help with composition.
  • Click Reset to restore the selection to the full image.
  • Type directly in the pixel fields and press Enter to snap the selection.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload an image by dragging it onto the zone or clicking Select Image.
  2. Drag over the image to draw the crop selection.
  3. Use the numeric X, Y, Width, Height fields to fine-tune the area in pixels.
  4. Choose an output format (JPEG, PNG, or WebP) and quality.
  5. Click Apply Crop and download the result.

Common questions

Can I crop to an exact pixel size?

Yes. Type the exact Width and Height values in the numeric inputs and press Enter or click Apply Crop.

Which formats are supported?

Input: PNG, JPEG, WebP. Output: JPEG, PNG, or WebP. The format defaults to the original file type.

Does the crop affect image quality?

PNG output is lossless. JPEG and WebP output use the quality slider you set.
